Mr. Murray is Vice President of The Kafafian Group, Inc. His responsibilities include implementation and processing of client-specific profitability models.

He has over 20 years of financial industry experience. He spent 15 years with Vermont National Bank (now Chittenden Bank) as a Vice President & Investment Officer. While there his primary duties included the management of the bank and holding company investment portfolios, the bank’s asset/liability and interest rate risk models and the management of the banks daily liquidity position. He was also an account executive with Tucker Anthony Sutro Capital Markets (now RBC Capital Markets).

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Economics from Trinity College in Burlington, Vermont. Steve’s professional education includes the AMIfs Institute, American Bankers Association’s Graduate & National Schools of Bank Investments & Funds Management, New England School of Banking and NASD Series 7 and 63.

Mr. Murray served for five years in the United States Air Force Security Police. He is currently a 1st Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force Auxiliary Civil Air Patrol. He is a qualified Ground Search And Rescue Team Leader.
